Argana Park Sporting Club Upgrade
BGES was engaged to deliver the complete electrical installation for the Argana Park Sporting Club Upgrade, constructed by BluBuilt for the City of Playford. The project included the electrical services for new and refurbished sporting club facilities, together with upgraded sports field lighting and external car park and pathway lighting to enhance the precinct for players, officials and the wider community.
The project involved the installation of new consumer mains, a main switchboard, distribution boards, underground electrical reticulation, general power, energy-efficient lighting, emergency and exit lighting, communications infrastructure and electrical supplies for mechanical and hydraulic services. BGES also coordinated all electrical and telecommunications authority requirements, including new utility connections, metering and NBN infrastructure, ensuring the project was delivered in line with the construction program.
A key feature of the project was the delivery of new sports field lighting, including the design and installation of dedicated lighting poles, floodlighting systems and advanced lighting controls to achieve the required competition lighting levels. The works also included upgrades to the existing Integriti electronic security system, integrating the expanded facility with lighting and fire detection systems to provide a seamless building management solution.
From major infrastructure upgrades through to commissioning and handover, BGES delivered a complete, high-quality electrical solution that provides Argana Park with a modern, energy-efficient sporting facility capable of supporting community sport both day and night.
