Dock One Footbridge

BGES was engaged to deliver the electrical infrastructure for the new Dock One pedestrian footbridge, enhancing connectivity within the Port Adelaide waterfront precinct while creating a visually striking feature for the community.

The project included the installation of a new main switchboard and power supply infrastructure, together with integrated LED strip lighting within the bridge handrails to provide safe, energy-efficient illumination for pedestrians. BGES also installed specialised projector lighting to showcase public artwork, enhancing the bridge’s visual appeal and contributing to the precinct’s vibrant night-time atmosphere.

By combining functional lighting with architectural illumination, BGES delivered an electrical solution that not only improves public safety and accessibility but also complements the unique character of the Dock One waterfront development.
