As part of the Marion Cultural Centre redevelopment, BGES delivered a comprehensive electrical and communications package to support the transformation of this vibrant public space.
Works included the installation of underground pits and conduits, a new plaza distribution board, and multiple event power bollards to accommodate temporary infrastructure needs.
The plaza was enhanced with a combination of uplighting, festoon lighting, and a mix of 10.5-metre and 4.5-metre light poles with integrated street lighting.
BGES also installed feature projector lighting for public artwork displays, with advanced lighting control systems, including DMX and RGBW colour-changing capabilities.
The project also featured automated water misters for added interactivity, as well as the integration of fibre and communications cabling to support future smart technologies and public connectivity.
